In September of 1998 Arthur Andersen had began building a team to complete the RFP they had won for 7 deliverables concerning the Integrated Communication Infrastructure for the School Board of Broward County. The 1.2 million dollar project was headed by AA partner Rodney Smith. They contracted me when I was the Director of IT at Quest Technologies to complete the LAN, WAN, Telecom, Application Structure, Document management, and Unified messaging portion of the paper. ATS&R was hired for building infrastructure and cabling. Arthur Andersen staff managed the progress and hired technical writers to cleanup our research and documentation. This project ended with hundreds of pages of technical specifications and standards for the next decade of technology for the fifth largest school district in the United States. I will attach an example of the work created in this project because it was built for a government agency anyone has access to it. Also below is the schedule for the 7 deliverables and the staff names and companies involved in the project. I have the entire project if you would like it, but it is quite large.
